Andrea’s career spans high-end hospitality, some of the world’s most respected media institutions, and now the events division of one of the most recognised names in global news. The thread connecting all of it is a deep, almost obsessive commitment to the guest experience.
She talks about what that looks like in practice: the handwritten notes, the research, the database hygiene, the bilateral meetings designed to make sure that no one in the room feels like they’re just filling a seat. For Andrea, presence should always feel purposeful. And that philosophy, shaped by time at Disney, in fine dining and at the Dorchester Academy, runs through everything her team does.
There’s also a really honest moment about cynicism. Andrea admits she used to wonder whether events were just rinse and repeat. What changed her mind was working somewhere where the conversations happening in the room genuinely moved things forward. That sense of purpose, she says, makes all the difference.
